Barefoot Gen follows the life of a Japanese boy living in Hiroshima when the atomic bomb was dropped. It is based on Nakazawa's true life experience. The film is a condemnation of the true horrors of war but also a testament to the human will to survive. This film will affect your emotions deeply.
