Gatts is a ruthless warrior who wields a gigantic sword and has a mechanical crossbow where his left hand should be. He is marked with a strange scar and constantly battles monstrous forces that, for mysterious reasons in his past, continue to torment him. Despite all obstacles, Gatts mercilessly seeks out the secrets of the entity known as 'God Hand'.
