Hitoshi doesn't have much going for him. He's clumsy in both athletics and academics and average in looks. The only thing he's good at is programming computers. Hitoshi's life takes a sudden turn when a bizarre lightning strike causes his artificial intelligence program number 30 to manifest in physical form. Being an incarnate computer program, Saati (a Japanization of the word "thirty") has a number of extraordinary powers, like the ability to talk to ATM machines or to calculate the most likely ball trajectories in a soccer match. But since #30's knowledge database was incomplete, Saati is not aware of many ordinary things. Then there's Saati's physical form - she's a beautiful teenage girl! Since A.I. Program #30 was originally designed to represent Hitoshi's ideal woman, Saati constantly trys to fulfil her inborn goal of being a perfect companion to Hitoshi - based on her own unconventional view of the world!
Tips: A.I. is of course the acronym for Artificial Intelligence but in Japanese the word ai means 'love' and is pronounced "I". In the Love Hina Spring Movie, watch for a painting of Hitoshi and Saati on the side of the Mr. Akamatsu's yacht!
