Okay, it isn't exactly anime since Cybersix is a Western
creation, but the TV version was animated in Japan (actually a
Japan-Canada co-production).
Cybersix is a kind and beautiful artifical lifeform created by
the evil Von Richter. However, Von Richter perceives
Cybersix's ability to think for herself as a failure, and so he seeks
to destroy his creation. Cybersix flees her creator and
tries to start a new life, disguised as a male schoolteacher.
However, she is soon forced to confront the schemes of her
mad creator.
Cybersix features simple but very appealing animation with bold
character designs. There's a lightness and freedom in the
movement of the characters that's very fun to watch. The
storyline is fairly ordinary but the neat setting and great
characters and action make this 12 part mini-series well worth
watching.
