Usagi went over to Mamoru's place to give him some cookies she had made. She said that they were a little burnt, but since she had put a lot of love into them, it would be ok. Usagi knocked at Mamoru's door.  Nobody answered. Usagi found that the door was open. She went inside and heard some classical music. Usagi said to herself that the atmosphere was very mature. Usagi picked up a book that Mamoru had left lying on the table. It was a book about genetic engineering. Usagi had trouble reading the title. She quickly commented that since Mamoru was a college student, his reading level was very high.

Usagi accidently spilled her cookies. When she saw her cute, burnt cookies (shaped like rabbits), she felt that they didn't match with Mamoru at all. Usagi started to cry. Mamoru came back [he had gone out to buy a coke] and asked what Usagi was crying about. Usagi cried out, "I'm a failure at being your wife!"

Mamoru told Usagi not to cry. Then he picked up one of the cookies and ate it. He made a funny face, but he said that it was ok. "Usagi, you're fine just the way you are now", said Mamoru.  Usagi became very happy.

Later Usagi went to the park with her friends and told everyone what had happened at Mamoru's place.
"Poor guy," said Mako (Lita), "I hope he didn't get a stomach ache."
"What do you mean?" demanded Usagi.
"No that's not reasonable," commented Ami.  Usagi was happy because she thought Ami was sticking up for her. Then Ami continued, "Since they were so thoroughly heated, the probability of food poisoning is extremely small."
Usagi was about to get mad [the other girls looked scared]. But then she held it inside and just laughed. Usagi said: "Today's Usagi is a good Usagi"!
Suddenly Usagi was full of energy. She ran over to Ami and asked Ami to teach her about genetic engineering. The she asked Mako to teach her cooking. The girls looked surprised.
"I've decided." declared Usagi, "I want to get closer to Mamoru's level, even if it's only a little bit closer!" Usagi asked Minako about learning English, and asked Rei about wearing a kimono.  Their jaws dropped.
Minako said in English, "Why?" [very cute!]
Usagi said it was her training for being a wife. 		Minako and Mako both said they had something to do, and quickly ran off. Ami told Usagi she should do her school chemistry and biology homework before going onto genetic engineering.  Before Usagi could say anything Rei cut in and said that it was no use to pay attention to Usagi, because she would just get bored and quit like all the other times before. Rei and Usagi argued with each other and then Rei left. Usagi was left alone with the cats.  Luna told Usagi that everyone was tired of trying to teach her. Usagi started crying, and Luna realized that Usagi was serious this time.
