![]() Elesewhere in the park, Michiru was playing a violin. Haruka sat on a nearby bench listening. "There's no mistaking it," said Haruka, "there is a strong, evil force in this town. When it gains strength it sends out those monsters to attack people." "There's no use in worrying." said Michiru, "We got our memories back and we have a mission to do. We have to get the three talismans back, extract the powerful energy from it, and give that back to the rightful owner." "If only we knew who the possesors of the three talismans were," mused Haruka. "Taking out the talismans will cause the person to die," stated Michiru bluntly. "It's for the sake of saving the world," said Haruka. "Some sacrifices have to be made. That's the mission we've been given." |
Usagi was wandering glumly through the park when she heard the violin music. Usagi stopped and spotted Michiru. "This is it!" declared Usagi in awe, "This is the ideal princess." Haruka and Michiru spotted Usagi and asked what she wanted. Usagi said she was admiring Michiru's violin playing. Then Haruka tossed a lemon (or some kind of fruit) to Michiru. Michiru caught it with the violin and bounced it around, while still playing the music. Usagi was astonished at Michiru's co-ordination. Then Haruka left on her motorcycle, saying that she was feeling upset about something. |

Michiru stopped playing and said she would talk with Usagi. Michiru took Usagi to an art gallery. As they walked Usagi asked if Michiru was going to be a professional violinist. Michiru said she didn't know what to do yet. Usagi said that she was the same. Then a boy came up to Michiru and said he was a fan of her paintings. Usagi looked around and saw that the painting on display at the gallery was by Michiru. Usagi then realized that Michiru wasn't sure of what to do because she had too many talents. |
| Back outside the gallery, Usagi was still
determined to improve and culture herself. She took out Michiru's
violin and started trying to play. Her horrible screeching noises
horrified the people in the park. Haruka reappeared and laughed
at Usagi's earnestness. |

| Haruka and Michiru took Usagi to a cafe.
Usagi
had ice cream on her face and seven empty parfait glasses in front of
her. Usagi told Michiru and Haruka about Mamoru and herself, and
how
she felt she wasn't up to Mamoru's level. Michiru told Usagi not
to give up. She gave Usagi a pair of tickets to a violin recital
that evening and said she should go with Mamoru. Usagi was
delighted with the idea!
Meanwhile professor Tomoe had made another daimon egg, and Kaolinite sent it off to find a victim. |

That evening, Usagi and Mamoru (who was
wearing a white
tuxedo without a mask - Usagi called him "Tuxedo Mamo-chan"), walked
down the street to
the violin recital. When they came to the recital hall they
met Usagi's friends and
Luna as well. |
Usagi thought they were going to make fun of her for
trying to be sophisticated, but instead the girls apologized to her
about
earlier that day. Rei said she would make sure Usagi stayed awake
during the recital. Ami had even brought some music textbooks
[Ami
pulled out the textbooks and everyone got giant "sweatdrops" on their
foreheads]. |
