Floating in the pool at her apartment building, Michiru thought about her last conversation with Haruka...
"The three Talismans, the keys to finding the sovereign, are sealed into pure hearts," said Haruka, "We must find them!"
"Even if we have to sacrifice those who have those pure hearts?" asked Michiru.
"Even if we have to sacrifice them," confirmed Haruka.  "We don't have much time.  Very soon, the silence will come!  We have to find the sovereign by any means."

Michiru climbed out of the pool [scene cut from English TV broadcast version] and picked up her communicator.

Haruka was still out patrolling on her motorcycle, and said that she sensed the enemy would appear soon.
Serena, Lita and Amy were walking down the street.  "So," ventured Lita, "Do you know where Haruka lives?"
"Hmm, she never said," replied Serena. Lita looked down at Haruka's scarf which she held in her hand.
"What are you going to do with that?" asked Serena suspiciously.
"I just thought I should return it to her," said Lita.

The girls walked by a woman in a red dress.  The woman turned around.  It was Kaolinite, but the girls hadn't noticed her.

Suddenly a gust of wind blew the purple scarf from Lita's hand. "Wait!" cried Lita, "If I lose you, I'll have no chance to see Haruka!"
"Chance?!?" shouted Amy and Serena.

The scarf blew into a nearby parking lot. A daimon egg appeared and merged itself into the scarf.
Lita ran into the parking lot and began looking for the scarf.  She finally spotted it under a car.  "There you are!" Lita got down on her knees and tried to reach it. She stretched her arm out until she could just touch the scarf with her fingers. Suddenly the scarf grabbed her hand!
Lita recoiled in shock! The scarf had turned into a daimon.
"Scar!" shouted the daimon, "I'll get your pure heart!"
Serena and Amy spotted the monster.
"Daimon?!" Amy pushed Serena along, "We've got to transform!"

Moon Cosmic Power!  Mercury Star Power!
The daimon shot out ribbons that wrapped around Lita. Sailor Mercury used her Shine Aqua Illusion to freeze the ribbons and Lita broke free of them.  Kaolinite was nearby watching. "Damn," cursed Kaolinite, "The Sailor Soldiers got here so quickly!" She ordered Daimon Scar to retreat.

Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were also watching from nearby.
"She's the next target," commented Sailor Neptune.
Uranus was annoyed, "Sailor Moon stopped the daimon before it took the heart crystal, so we don't know if it's a talisman or not."
"Why don't we reveal everything and fight together?" asked Sailor Neptune.
"The silence is coming," said Sailor Uranus, "In order to stop it, something will have to be sacrificed." She looked down at Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury. "Do you think that they can do that?"

"So what's your plan?" asked Sailor Neptune.  Sailor Uranus looked down at Lita.
