Episode 111

Notes

Starting with episode 110, the opening credits included Sailor Pluto (as well as Sailors Neptune and Uranus and the inner planet Sailor Senshi). It showed Sailor Moon emerging from the Sacred Cup with butterfly-like wings. Interestingly, Kaolinite still appears in the opening credits. A new character appeared in the new opening animation: a young, sad-looking girl with dark shoulder-length hair.

EPISODE 111: The Sacred Cup's Mysterious Power! Double Moon Transformation

At the Marine Cathedral, Serena knelt beside Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Sailor Uranus was still breathing. Serena begged her to tell them how to turn the talismans back into their hearts and save them, but Sailor Uranus said it didn't matter. Looking up, Sailor Uranus again thought she saw Sailor Moon as the messiah; a pure white female figure with wings like that of a butterfly. "Legendary messiah," murmured Sailor Uranus.

Sailor Uranus said that the Silence was coming. Only the messiah who could control the sacred cup would be able to stand against the darkness and the silence and fill the world with light.

Sailor Uranus died, and Serena cried out in anguish.
"How can we return their pure hearts to them?"
Suddenly, the Sailor Senshi were attacked by a blast of flame!

It was Eudial! Eudial snatched away the two talismans, the sacred mirror and the sacred dagger.

Serena had her brooch back and transformed into Sailor Moon. She demanded that Eudial return the talismans that were the pure hearts of Uranus and Neptune.
Eudial laughed and blasted Sailor Moon!
