	In a darkened room, a small girl sat hunched in a high chair, surrounded by stuffed toys. The room was filled with a strange mist and the girl breathed slowly and with difficulty.
The professor entered. "How are you feeling today our Messiah of Silence?" The girl spoke softly into a microphone. Her amplified voice sounded erie and unnatural. "My head feels heavy. Hurry and find the perfect pure heart." "I see," replied the professor, "you want me to find pure hearts and change them into Awakening Energy?" The girl nodded.
Later, at a meeting, the professor explained his new "Cormorant" strategy to the members of Witches 5. He explained that the cormorant was a bird that swallowed fishes whole. His new daimons would steal a human's pure heart and then swallow it to keep it secure until the daimon could return the to the lab.	Suddenly the professor noticed that Mimette wasn't paying attention. She was reading manga (comics) under her desk instead. The professor threw a fit! Mimette quickly hid the manga, but she dropped some photos. The professor picked them up and found that they were of a handsome actor. Mimette was very embarrased and all the women laughed at her. Then Mimette said the pictures were of a man who had a pure heart and that he would be the next target. The professor forgot about being angry and rushed off to his lab.
The professor put an old pistol into his revised daimon machine (it had a picture of a cormorant on the front). Lights flashed and a new daimon hatched inside. "Western!" shouted the daimon. A box popped out from the machine and Mimette took it and left. Mimette came out from one of the Death Busters' secret exits. This time the exit was a large crate inside a busy furniture store!	At Raye's house, Setsuna was explaining the Sacred Cup to Serena and the other girls. "If the correct person touches the cup, the light of justice will fill the world and strike out evil, but if an unjust person uses the cup, evil will dominate and an age of darkness will begin. Our future will be destroyed." Raye remembered her vision of a dark red light destroying the world and realized that Setsuna must be talking about the same thing. Then Setsuna left saying that she had to find the messiah with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune.
The girls were disappointed that the outer planet senshi always did everything on their own. Luna and Artemis said that they might have their own good reasons. Amy said they should think of ways to find the messiah on their own. Rini arrived and was disappointed to find that Setsuna (whom she called "Pu") was not there. Rini wanted Setsuna to take her to the park. Rini looked at Serena but Serena scowled and said she was too busy. Lita asked Rini which park and Rini said Juuban Shizenkouen. Mina suddenly said that she would be happy to take Rini to the park.	Serena told Mina that she didn't have time to do such things, and Mina complained that Serena sounded like Amy. Amy scowled. "What's happening at that park, Mina?" asked Amy. Mina knew she'd been caught. "Well, actually they're shooting an Eda Yousaku movie there today." Serena instantly said she was going to take Rini to the park! Lita said that Yousaku looked a little like her old boyfriend. Raye said she would come too. Serena told Amy that she should come too because the messiah might be there. "Why would the messiah be there?" asked Amy sternly. Serena couldn't think of a reason! But Amy said she would come anyway. Luna and Artemis sighed. continue...
