Rini and Serena were taking a bath. Serena commented that Rini seemed very cheerful. Rini said she had made a new friend. Serena thought Rini meant a boyfriend and she started teasing her. Rini and Serena started fighting.	Meanwhile, Darien was outside in a park. He seemed to be looking for someone. Three figures emerged from the shadows. "From days long gone, soldiers of the Silver Milennium?" he asked.
"And an agent from the future", added Setsuna.	The three women transformed.
Some leaves blew by, momentarily obscuring the view. When they had passed, Darien appeared as Tuxedo Mask.	"We are the three Soldiers of the Outer Solar System," said Sailor Neptune. Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto explained that they had been granted stronger powers than the other Sailor Soldiers because their job was to defend the Solar System from outside invaders. "Only this time we failed," continued Sailor Neptune, "The enemy is already here."
Tuxedo Mask asked why the Outer Planet Soldiers didn't want Sailor Moon's help to fight the new enemy, the Death Busters. "This battle is impossible for Sailor Moon," replied Sailor Neptune, "or even for Mars and Venus." Sailor Uranus said that the others would only get in the way.
Lita, Mina and Amy were talking about Rini. She had asked each of them for advice because she had never been invited to someone's house before. She had asked Mina what to wear, and asked Amy and Lita what a good gift would be. Amy suggested giving a book that reflected Rini's own interests.  Lita gave her some cookies to take. The girls wondered what Rini's friend was like, and if it was a boy or a girl.	The girls arrived at the Shrine and Raye said that Rini had asked her for advice too. Rini asked her for advice on etiquette and greetings, but then Serena had suddenly popped up and said that she would accompany Rini on her visit. Raye started yelling that Serena had to stay for study group, but Serena tricked Raye into looking away by saying "Hey look - there's Michael!" and then running away with Rini. Raye and the others sighed and started their study session without Serena. [Ed. Note:  Supposedly, "Michael" refers to the Japanese voice actress for Rei being a big fan of Michael Jackson.]
Rini bought a manga (comic book novel) called "Drop Drop" as a present for her friend. Serena complained that it wasn't a "serious" present, but really she wanted the manga for herself. It was by Ukon Katakuri, who was one of her favourite authors. Then Serena asked what Rini's friend was like. "Very cute, but somewhat weak," replied Rini. Serena still thought it was a boy friend and imagined Rini taking care of a cute young boy who was ill and in bed. Serena thought it was very romantic.	At the Death Buster's hideout, Professor Tomoe was talking to somebody who was being "raised" as the evil messiah. The messiah said that she needed a lot of energy. Professor Tomoe said that he would get pure heart crystal energy from humans. continue...
