| Hotaru came out of her room and asked
Kaori who had come to the door. Kaori said it was the
same little girl from before. Hotaru was angry with Kaori
for sending Rini away. Kaori said that Hotaru was a
selfish girl who took advantage of her father's
generousity. |
Hotaru ran out of the house and caught
up with Rini. They were happy to see each other, but then
Hotaru had one of her seizures and passed out. Serena and
Amy came by and decided to take Hotaru to the hospital
where Amy's mother worked. Rini thought it was her fault
for bothering Hotaru by visiting, but Serena told her not
to blame herself. She said Hotaru had left her house to
find Rini because she needed Rini's friendship. |

Hotaru was having bad memories. She
remembered as a young child finding her fishtank broken
and her goldfish dead. "Who killed my pet?" she
cried. "You did it," scolded a woman who looked
like Kaolinite, "Now clean up this mess."
Hotaru remembered going to school and seeing a boy with
his head bandaged. She asked him what had happened and
the other children yelled at her for pretending not to
know. They said Hotaru had hurt him. None of the
schoolchildren would come near Hotaru or talk to her. |

Hotaru cried in her father's lap. "It seems I've
hurt my friends again, but I can't remember. I really
don't remember..."
"It's alright Hotaru," consoled her father,
"You're not a bad girl. You're not a bad girl." |

| Hotaru regained conciousness and
everyone was relieved. Amy said her mother would be in
shortly to check her, but Hotaru seemed uncomfortable
with all the attention. Hotaru said she wasn't allowed to
see any doctors. She got out of bed, thanked everyone and
went to leave. Serena said that her mother made delicious
hot cakes and that Hotaru should come and taste them
sometime. Hotaru seemed genuinely surprised by Serena's
kindness. |
Outside the hospital, Haruka pulled up
in her vintage Italian sportscar and offered Rini and her
friend a ride. |

As they drove, Haruka asked Hotaru if she was the
daughter of Professor Tomoe. Hotaru said she was. Rini
and Hotaru were laughing and having fun, but Haruka was
watching Hotaru suspicously in the rear-view mirror. |
Mimet walked up to a man sitting at an outdoor cafe.
"Oh, aren't you Mr. You Kazama from the show 'Jump
Out Friends'?" asked Mimet "I'm so lucky! I'm
your biggest fan!" Kazama looked wary. "Won't
you do me a favour?" Mimet pressed her face close
against Kazama's. "I have some friends who want to
meet you. Please won't you come with me." Kazama
tried to make an excuse, but Mimet cheerfully grabbed his
wrist and whisked him out of the cafe. |

| "The wind is rustling..."
Haruka sensed the presence of the enemy. She stopped the
car suddenly. "What's wrong?" asked Rini.
"Uh, I'm very thirsty, I'm going to get a
drink," said Haruka, "Please wait here."
Haruka jumped out of the car and ran into a park. Rini
thought it must be the enemy, so she asked Hotaru to wait
in the car and ran off to follow Haruka. |
"Uhh, where are your friends?"
asked Kazama. "Right here!" Mimet opened her
briefcase and released her daimon "Utomodachi".
Mimet threw off her trenchcoat to reveal her Witches 5
outfit. Utomodachi chased Kazama around saying she
