Sailor Moon Super (Episode 116) "Calm after the storm! A friendship devoted to Hotaru"

| "How about this one?" Darien showed Rini a backpack shaped like a bunny rabbit and asked if she would like him to buy it for her. Rini said she would. | Serena was jealous and took out
her stress by squishing Luna. She asked why Darien was favouring Rini. Darien said Rini needed a backpack
because she was going on a picnic.

| Serena's mood suddenly changed. "I know, why don't we go on a picnic Darien? Just the two of us..." Rini quickly insisted that if they went on a picnic, she had to go too. The two girls started pulling Darien in opposite directions. | Darien said he would take both
girls. Hotaru happened to walk by and saw the three of
them. Darien was holding Rini in one arm and his other
arm was linked with Serena's. Hotaru was reminded of how
she used to play with her parents when she was younger.

| Rini noticed Hotaru and ran out
of the store. "Hotaru, wait!" called Rini, but
Hotaru apologized and ran away. "She must have some serious reason for it," said Serena, concerned. "Haruka said we should keep Rini away from her, but I don't think she's bad." [Ed. Note: Notice in the picture above, "Usagi" is written on her shirt in English and
in Japanese kanji ] |
Later, Rini took the rabbit backpack to Hotaru's house and asked Kaori to give it to Hotaru. When Hotaru opened it she found a note inside, inviting her to go on a picnic. Kaori said that little girl should know better than to invite a sick person on a picnic. |

| Then Hotaru's father appeared and said the picnic was a good idea. He apologized that he had no time to go anywhere with Hotaru because he was so busy with his research. | Darien came in his car to pick
up Serena and Rini. Serena had packed such a huge lunch
basket that it barely fit in Darien's car. [Darien
developed the "sweat drop" on his head!] Hotaru
hadn't shown up yet and Rini was looking down.
"Maybe she won't come," sighed Rini. "Look, Rini," said Luna.

| "Hotaru!" shouted Rini. Hotaru looked glad she had decided to come. | Darien drove them to a beautiful park with a large greenhouse and botanical gardens. [It looked like the same gardens that they went to at the beginning of the Sailor Moon R Movie] |
