followed them and were watching, unnoticed, from a
distance. Haruka scowled. "I told them not to let
Hotaru get so close to Rini." Setsuna asked if Hotaru was linked to their enemy, the DeathBusters. Haruka said she had a bad feeling about Hotaru's powers. Michiru smiled and said that Hotaru and the others looked happy.

Serena, Hotaru and Rini were playing leapfrog, but the effort was a bit much for Hotaru, who fell to her knees. Darien helped her up. |

At the "Witches 4" hideout, Mimet received a phone call from Professor Tomoe. He asked Mimet what colour roses she liked. Mimet said pink, if they were free. The professor said that the cultivation of hybrid roses required pure-hearted concentration. He asked Mimet to target the top botanist who specialized in roses. Mimet found the data in her computer, but she was unhappy since the target wasn't a handsome singer or movie star. |

of the greenhouses. The botanist was a former schoolmate
of Darien's, so Darien called him "sempai". "Darien", said the botanist, "you're surrounded by beautiful women, as always!"
