Serena was late for the girl's meeting as usual. When she arrived she congratulated Amy on getting a perfect score on the latest national exam. "Again?!" said everyone. Amy was a little embarrased. "Actually, I'm not the only one," said Amy, "A girl named Yuri Viluy did too. She goes to Mugen School." Raye said Mugen was very suspicious and that they should investigate it. Lita said they needed security passes to get into Mugen. Mina said they should just sneak in. Amy sheepishly admitted that she had a Mugen pass because she was going to take Mugen's high school entrance exam.	The next day was dark and snowy. Students were lined up outside Mugen to take the exam and the girls tried to blend in. All the students in the line were studying very hard and Serena was scared by how serious they were. "They're totally different from you," smirked Raye.
The professor surveyed the scene with pleasure. He said that Mugen's reputation had brought the best and brightest students. Kaolinite was hanging on to the professor's arm and admiring him. The professor spotted Serena munching on a bag of candy and thought that she didn't fit in with the others. "Not all the students are that smart," commented Kaolinite, "But they all have great enthusiasm for taking the exam. They're sure to be a good source of pure hearts."	A girl entered the room and Kaolinite quickly let go of the professor's arm. Professor Tomoe asked Viluy if her plan was going well. Viluy said she would collect a huge number of pure hearts, enough to awaken the Messiah of Silence. Viluy gave Kaolinite a spiteful look and said that if Kaolinite had time to fool around, she should go collect pure hearts.

Darien was in his car when he spotted Rini. He asked her what she was doing but she simply replied that she was going out for a bit.	Darien noticed Setsuna in his side-view mirror. She seemed to be following Rini.
